After multiple appearances on Hosting Hochatown, Oklahoma State Representative Eddy Dempsey joins Jay Wesley Lindly and Shilo Brock Martin for a farewell conversation as he prepares to leave office. With his decision not to seek another term, Dempsey reflects on his time at the State Capitol and shares his thoughts on several important issues facing southeastern Oklahoma, including education funding through surge money, county road funding, state park fees, the growing conversation around data centers, and relationships inside the Capitol. It’s a candid conversation about public service, the challenges of representing rural Oklahoma, and what comes next for Eddy Dempsey. Thank you for your years of service.
